As the name implies, I have Asperger's, which includes, among many other issues, difficulty in filtering incoming sensations. In addition, I thrive (much better phrase and attitude than suffer) under Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly known as Multiple Personalities.) I'm 53, and although they are lifelong conditions, I have only had these diagnosis for three years, but in typical Aspie fashion I've researched just about everything that's available on the subjects. I also have Prosopagnosia (aka face blindness) in the mix for a different perspective both in art and fiction.
I self-published a series of ebooks containinting short fiction (Sci-fi, fantasy, and weirdilogical) with afterwords commenting on how these conditions influenced each story, just to give others a glimpse into my head, as well as an inspiration to others with challenges in life. I set up this website for those wishing to comment on the stories, but also to provide a place for anyone interested in these conditions to comment or ask questions. And maybe sell a book or two to help finance the site. I'd also be happy to correspond in private at comments@aspiebob.com .
All my art is created using basic Paint.org tools, from scratch, eschewing photoshop or related techniques. I found that my various alters enjoy this expression and it has been a great way for them to communicate, both internally and externally. I always start a piece with a basic shape or color palette and never know where the process will go as I sit back and watch a personality work. As much as my Asperger's propensity is to shun self promotion, I've been convinced to offer a few prints sale. These are signed poster prints.

I am recording mp3 audio versions of my stories, making them available as I go. I have discovered my writing style is highly influenced by the golden age of radio, especially detective adventures and classic westerns, so lend themselves well to the medium. No, I'm not that old, but I lived off grid for a while, listening to a lot of satellite radio. The price is from free to whatever they are worth to you.

I'm putting up a free preview of the latest story from my newest collection, "An Aspie Can't Stop Telling Tales", as I write them. Each will only be available until the next is finished.
